Four Seasons New Hybrid Sunroom: A Modern Addition with Classic Style

Four Seasons Hybrid Sunroom

(PRWEB) February 21, 2012

Consumers in the market for a sunroom or room addition should prepare to eat their words if they think once they’ve seen a sunroom, they’ve seen them all.The new Hybrid Sunroom from Four Seasons Sunrooms is like nothing else seen before!

Unlike the average conservatory or patio enclosure from other companies, the Four Seasons Hybrid Sunroom delivers new state-of-the-art engineering and a range of modern and classical designs, along with super energy-efficiency that is equaled by no other sunroom company.

What really sets the Four Seasons Hybrid Sunroom apart is the traditional style of construction, which means it immediately becomes an integral part of the home, and visitors will assume the addition has always been there.

Available as a studio, cathedral-roof or conservatory design, with solid or glass roof and with a choice of double-hung, casement or sliding windows, the homeowner can create a beautiful sunroom that is architecturally pleasing, matching the look of the existing home, and offering year-round comfort.

Four Seasons Sunrooms have described their new Hybrid Sunroom as where, “The world’s finest sunrooms meets the world’s finest windows.” And, in truth, it’s hard to argue with that. The company has been a market-leader in sunroom building and design for the past 35 years and has continued to invest in leading-edge technology that puts them miles ahead of the rest.

With its structural grade aluminium framing system, the Four Seasons Hybrid Sunroom has the strength and integrity to withstand whatever the weather cares to throw at it. Homeowners can relax comfortably inside their sunroom or conservatory, safe and secure, while Mother Nature moves through all four seasons.

The Hybrid Sunroom’s vinyl windows use the thickest, heaviest extrusions and the maximum concentration of Titanium Dioxide that provides strength and durability, as well as a pure white UPVC with superior, long-lasting UV protection. For additional security, the sashes are reinforced with galvanised steel with the option to extend this extra safety feature to the window frames too.

All Four Seasons Sunrooms, including their new Hybrid Sunroom and conservatories, feature the company’s CONSERVAGLASS SELECT™ glazing technology. Using a combination of microscopically thin coatings of exotic metals and compounds, the Hybrid Sunroom lets beneficial natural light into the room, while helping to keep out oppressive heat and preventing UV light from damaging furnishings or upholstery. In the cold winter months, this exclusive technology helps reflects winter heat back into the addition, so the family inside can enjoy year-round comfort.

Combine the state-of-the art technology of the Four Seasons Hybrid Sunroom with its exceptional style and design, and the end results is a unique room addition that is thermally superior to any other sunroom available today.

Whether the homeowner is thinking of an elegant dining room, a spacious living room or even a home office or den that’s flooded with light, it’s worth taking a closer look at the Four Seasons Hybrid Sunroom. It could be the energy-efficient room addition they’ve always dreamed of!

Zerowait Announces NAS Acceleration and Global Namespace Solution

Zerowait Announces NAS Acceleration and Global Namespace Solution

Wilmington, Delaware (PRWEB) February 16, 2012

Zerowait, the worldwide leader in independent NetApp support and Off-Lease system sales, announced today the availability of NAS Acceleration and Global Namespace Appliances for the NetApp community. Mike Linett, President of Zerowait said: ”This is the perfect solution for our customers who are looking for more performance and easier data management – without the excessive purchase and support costs of upgrading their NetApp filers. Each appliance contains a combination of DRAM, SDD and SAS drives with caching algorithms to accelerate performance, allowing our customers to retain their current NetApp storage and add low cost archive storage, all for far less than the cost of a major upgrade.”

Laurence Jones, Zerowait’s Managing Director in Australia added: “Many of my clients in the Film, Animation and Special Effects markets push both sides of the storage envelope, requiring exceptional performance and petabyte data sets. With NAS acceleration they can separate performance from capacity, adding additional accelerators to handle additional users, and utilizing low cost, high density SATA storage. Rack space requirements go down, greatly reducing their operating expenses, and rendering speeds go up, improving their productivity. It really is a win-win.”

In addition to acceleration, the ability to combine all NAS storage into a single global mount greatly eases management in large, multi-department deployments. Rather than create inefficient storage silos, pooled storage allows growth while minimizing excess storage.

Rob Robinson, Vice President of Sales, concluded: “With Off-lease NetApp systems, our low cost SimplStor disk archive, and now NAS optimization, we can offer our clients the most cost effective solution to both performance and capacity. Customers can specify the storage and performance they need, and neither has to be compromised to make the other work. And all of this can be achieved for far less than conventional NetApp, EMC or Isilon deployments.”

About Zerowait: Headquartered in Wilmington, Del., USA, and with offices around the world, Zerowait is the worldwide leader in independent service and support of NetApp filers. Zerowait solutions include off-lease fully licensed NetApp systems and the new Zerowait SimplStor line of single-name space archive storage. Storage administrators throughout the world rely on Zerowait to provide affordable solutions to the skyrocketing costs of data storage. http://www.zerowait.com

New Children?s Book Tells of a Young Girls Adventure on the Navajo Reservation

New Children’s Book Tells of a Young Girls Adventure on the Navajo Reservation

Dog Ear Publishing releases “The Adventures of Sunflower Girl: Grandmother and the Bull” by Ginny Sparks.

SAINT GEORGE, Utah (PRWEB) December 13, 2011

Sunflower Girl, named after the sunflowers blooming in the desert on the day she was born, knows she will have a good time when visiting her grandmother, who lives nearby. In this new children’s book, Shi Masani (her grandmother) tells Sunflower Girl stories, and the two explore the plants and animals on the Navajo Reservation. One day they have an adventure. While walking to visit relatives, a bull charges them and they must climb a tree to escape. Luckily, Shi Masani has a special gift to help them – she can talk to animals.

The Adventures of Sunflower Girl: Grandmother and the Bull is based on an actual experience the author had, with her grandmother, while growing up on the reservation. In this book she lovingly describes the hogan where Shi Masani lives – a small round house made of juniper logs and covered in red dirt. Like other people on the reservation, Shi Masani doesn’t have running water or electricity. Children of all ages can relate to this story about sharing traditions and spending time with grandparents. The book’s charming illustrations bring the reservation to life.

Author and illustrator, Ginny Sparks, is a full-blood Navajo woman. She was born on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona and didn’t speak English until she was 7. Sparks, a registered nurse, is working on her next book in the series, The Adventures of Sunflower Girl: Kittens in a Tree.

Breakthrough Cordless Chainsaw Power Like Nothing You?ve Seen Before

Breakthrough Cordless Chainsaw Power Like Nothing You’ve Seen Before

Oregon PowerNow Cordless Chainsaw

Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) November 04, 2011

Blount, the world’s largest manufacturer of saw chain, launches the new OREGON® PowerNow™ 40V MAX* Cordless Chainsaw.

For the first time, a battery-powered chainsaw delivers a combination of performance and features that make it a true alternative to many gas-powered chainsaws.

For removing trees, cleaning up after a storm, pruning large branches or clearing debris from property, you can depend on the OREGON PowerNow Chainsaw.

The OREGON PowerNow Chainsaw, with its lithium ion battery pack, offers instant starting without a pull cord, powerful cutting with no-fade power, and long runtime. It is a smarter, quieter way to work free from the hassles of gasoline or cords. When not in use, the lithium ion battery pack holds a charge for months at a time, so the PowerNow Chainsaw is ready when you are.

Equipped with a 14″ bar, the Oregon PowerNow Chainsaw can power through logs as large as 10 to 12 inches. For smaller cuts, the chainsaw goes non-stop, cutting up to 250 two to three inch (2-3″) branches on a single charge with the Endurance battery pack.

The PowerNow Chainsaw is much quieter than gas-powered chainsaws in use and is silent between cuts. At just under 11 pounds, the PowerNow Chainsaw is lightweight, easily portable and offers ergonomic comfort.

“Many people use gas-powered chainsaws because they don’t believe that cordless electric chainsaws have the power to perform,” said Alan Lofurno, Business Unit Director, PowerNow Tools. “That has all changed with the new OREGON PowerNow Chainsaw. Not only is the PowerNow Chainsaw powerful, but it is free from the hassles of gasoline or power cords.”

“The PowerNow Chainsaw starts instantly with the pull of a trigger – no pull cords, no gas, and no warm-up times. It is quiet and offers powerful cutting with no-fade power. The lithium ion battery pack provides long runtime, so the PowerNow Chainsaw is ready to perform,” said Lofurno.

The PowerNow Chainsaw features the PowerSharp® built-in chain sharpening system so you’ll never cut with a dull chain again. When the chain dulls, simply pull the PowerSharp Lever for 3 to 5 seconds with the saw running and the chain will work like new.

The PowerNow Chainsaw is sold with either an Endurance or Standard battery pack. Both 40V MAX* Lithium Ion Battery Packs feature high-capacity cells with no-fade power that maintain performance throughout the job. The Endurance battery pack doubles the runtime of the Standard battery pack.

“The PowerNow Chainsaw is the result of Blount combining our decades of innovation as the world’s largest saw chain manufacturer with lithium ion battery technology to create a powerful chainsaw that will change market perceptions of what is possible,” said Jake VanderZanden, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Blount. “The new OREGON PowerNow 40 Volt Max Chainsaw is a true technological breakthrough that for the first time offers performance and features that make it a viable alternative to many gas-powered chainsaws.”

“We reviewed the complete chainsaw user experience and developed the PowerNow Chainsaw to meet those needs,” said VanderZanden. “In addition to its power and convenience, the PowerNow Chainsaw includes PowerSharp®, our patent-pending saw chain sharpening system, built into the saw.”

“With its high-quality specifications, the PowerNow Chainsaw stands up in all kinds of applications,” said VanderZanden. “Intensive field testing and feedback from users, ranging from property owners to landscape maintenance professionals, continues to confirm the product’s performance and opportunity.”

*Fully charged battery voltage measured without a workload is 40 volts. Nominal voltage is 37.
